Nausea and vomiting during pregnancy or after surgery
The goal of acupressure therapy is to restore health and balance to the body’s channels of energy and to regulate opposing forces of negative and positive energy. It also involves stretching or acupressure massage, as well as other methods. As per the report published in CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians, acupressure may help ease nausea and vomiting in those with chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting. Some studies suggest that acupressure releases endorphins and promotes anti-inflammatory effects, helping with certain types of arthritis. Some studies even suggest that fatigue and mood may improve from the use of acupressure.

After an acupressure session, you may feel soreness at acupressure points. You may also feel temporarily lightheaded, immediately bring this to the notice of your therapist.

Remember, there are certain precautions that needed to be taken especially if you have cancer, arthritis, heart disease, or a chronic condition and even during pregnancy, acupressure typically isn’t done on the abdomen or certain points on the leg or lower back.

Let’s understand the specific body points:

Point CV12

Location: midway between the belly button and therefore the bottom of the sternum. On the midplane of the abdomen, five finger breadth on top of the belly button.

Benefits: acute abdominal pain, pain thanks to deadly sin, stomachic pain, bitter abdomen, belching, regurgitation, vomiting, diarrhea, dysentery, distention of the abdomen thanks to flatulence, herniation.

Point ST37

Location: eight finger breadth (6 body inch) below the lateral eye of the patella, on the road connecting the attention of the patella and therefore the external malleolus.

Benefits: abdominal bloating, severe constipation, diarrhoea, dysentery, inflammation, cramps within the lower abdomen, knee pain, colitis, irritable bowels.

Point LV3

Location: within the depression distal to the junction of the first and second metatarsal bones.

Benefits: reconciliation purpose, low energy, high blood pressure, female internal reproductive organ injury, PMS, retention of excreta, abdominal distention, fever, diarrhoea, headache, chemical toxicity, anger, epilepsy, injury from the abdomen, injury from the eyes, mouth, mucous secretion membrane, stroke, infantile convulsion, poor circulation.

Point LV5

Location: seven finger breadth on top of the tip of the medial malleolus on the medial border of shinbone.

Benefits: chemical and environmental toxicity, chronic fatigue syndrome, immune deficiency disorders, irregular expelling, PMS, fibromyalgia, dysuria, low energy, retention of excreta, aspect effects of radiation and therapy in cancer patients.

Point K10

Location: once the knee is flexed, the purpose is on the medial aspect of the ginglymus fossa, between the tendons of m. Semitendinosus and semimembranosus, level with UB forty.

Benefits: impotence, hernia, female internal reproductive organ injury, pain within the knee, mental disorders, and hair loss.

While it’s best to consult an acupuncturist for following the proper instructions, this treatment process could also be taken at home that is, it could also be self-administered. You do not need to necessarily use all of the points, using just one or two of them could be effective. Pressure should be gentle over fragile and sensitive areas such as face.

Learn What Venture Capital Can Do For You

The process of an investor buying part of a company, usually one just starting up, is called venture capital. These people put their money in a high risk company which should also have high growth. These types of investments are generally anywhere from five to seven years long. The investor will look for a return on their money by the company being sold or from offering to sell to the public shares in the company.

When a venture capitalist does invest in a company, they might want a percentage of the company’s equity, and might want to also have a position on the board of directors. All investors who put venture capital in a company are looking for some sort of good return on their investment. They can say that they want repayment from the sale of the company itself, ask for their money back or renegotiate the original deal.

You’ll also find that there are three different kinds of venture capital investment. The first is early stage financing, which has first stage financing, start-up financing and seed financing. First stage finance is for companies who want to expand their capital to continue with a full scale and to enter the arena of public business. Seed financing is a small portion of venture capital, given to someone who is trying to begin a business, such as an entrepreneur. This can be used for various things such as developing a business plan, market research or to build up their management team. Start-up financing is when the venture capital which is given to a business that has been around for under a year. Their product won’t have gone commercial yet but they will just be starting to do this.

Next you’ll find expansion financing. It includes second and third stage financing plus bridge financing. Second stage is an investment that’s meant to expand a company which is already stable. It will have growing accounts and inventories plus be trading already, but it is possibly not making a profit yet. Third stage financing is for companies which are becoming profitable or are breaking even. The venture capital here is used to expand the business and the money could be used for to buy real estate or more product development. Bridge financing has several different meanings. It is an interest only, short term investment that can be used for restructuring a company. It can also be used to liquidate an investor’s position and sell their stock.

In acquisition financing the investing will be used to get a percentage or even a whole of a different company. The venture capital here is also used by a management group when they are buying out a line of products or a business, no matter the stage of their development. It can be a public company or a private company.
